Created using the artisanal technique of glass bubbling. Geisha is a range of vases where each piece is unique. Several stages are required to obtain the bubbles in the glass. Before being blown in the mould, the glass is soaked in water. It is then covered in potassium carbonate before finally being covered with a second layer of glass. The potassium carbonate breaks down when exposed to heat, releasing carbon gas that remains trapped in the glass, forming bubbles.
